Norwegian Ocean Power was started in the spring of 2009, and the company is registered in Norway. The founder, Kent, has been working with an efficient design for a Darieus-based turbine since 2002. We are cooperating with leading global experts on turbine and generator design, as well as major industrial environments helping us to realize the potential in our vision and product.
Although we are in an early stage, our plan is to have a full-scale turbine in the water early 2011, and start production on several turbines during 2012.
